I have made a photo album wiht some of the pictures I took. I took a trip to seattle and brought my camera along to take some cool shots. I have started to work on my speech outline and i am really excited to share this project with my peers.
After completing 8 weeks of this project I have definatly seen some progress. I have learned some easy/ common tips and tricks about photography . I am starting to be able to answer my initial research question which is yes taking a photo a day has boosted moral and I have learned amazing thing about photography. I just recently went on a hike and I took amazing shots that i cant wait to post to the website. Any one who is not into photography I would definatly reccomend you to try .
About my recent photos I have uploaded. They were some of the most memorable events or activities I have been able to go to recently. The one of the golf course looks over Chambers Bay Golf Course and the shores of the Puget Sound. I used a wide lens to capture my whole perspective. Although I don't have the most expensive camera out there, I think the shot still turned out nice. Another Photo was the picture of the American flag looking out towards the water. I turned down the exposure which focused on the flag and making the whole picture have a blurry affect. Another photo I enjoyed taking was the "selfie" I took on a chairlift with my boys. We were all looking really cool and the snowy backdrop made it for excellent light exposure so our faces really stood out. I hope you like the photos so far as I will keep them coming.
As my update this week goes, my project is coming along very well. I might be investing in a very good camera to try out new shots along the way. Some days I don't have time to go full out to plan an elaborate picture but I love all the pictures I am taking as I am creating many memories to be able to go back and look at what I did. I will be adding some of my pictures to the site so go check them out!!!!
The Last couple of weeks have been great. The project is coming along smoothly. I have researched new methods of photography and watched videos on new skills and techniques. I have continued to take picture everyday and i have been seeing some improvement. I have been keeping track and I have seen a boost in moral and happiness while taking pictures. hat was my research question and I think it is coming along great. I will be added some of my photos to the site in the near future. I will check in again next week.
After a week of doing this project I am already seeing improvement. I have taken multiple photos each day, some better than others. I am having a lot of fun researching photography tips and tricks and I am getting better each and everyday. It really boosts my morale and whatever stressors I have in life photography is helping me deal with it. Another great thing I like about this projects is this allows me to go on new adventures just to "take the shot". Such as going on a new hike to get a picture of the sunset or just taking a picture to help you simply remember the day you had. I can already tell this is going to be a successful project.
This is the first post on this blog. The idea of this is to be able to follow my journey through the passion project throughout the next couple of months. A passion Project can be anything you want it to be such as research, create something new, build a website, learn a new language and many more. It is your idea and for my passion project is to Take a picture a day, but not just any picture, but to really take a well thought out photo of something I did that day. The goal of this is to hopefully get me back into photography and I will hopefully appreciate all that I do each day. Sometimes life goes by fast and you forget about moments and memories you have everyday. By the end of this I hope to be able to look back and create a photo album of awesome photos I take throughout the next few months. I also hope to answer these two questions, will this project re-spark the love of photography? and will this increase the overall satisfaction of life after seeing all that you did in the end? I will look forward to answering those questions in a few months.
